SS 304L is used extensively for welding application, particularly on parts which cannot be subsequently solution annealed.

SS 316 has superior corrosion resistance compared to other Chromium-Nickel Steel when exposed to many types of chemical corrodents as well as marine atmosphere. SS 316 is extremely resistant to corrosion by Sulphuric Acid.

Emirates Aluminium Smelter

The USD 5-billion Emirates Aluminium (EMAL), a joint venture between Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Development Company and Dubai Aluminium Company DUBAL. TME Fasteners are being used extensively for this project.
